To help the people that we educate and provide them with the resources they need to succeed in their education, we need goods which can be costly or difficult to procure. You can help out by making a donation, either as a one off or on a regular basis, of the goods that we need or money. Our list of possible donations includes toys such as jigsaws or building blocks; stationary such as pencils, paper, scissors, glue, chalk or blackboards; clothes including shoes and sports equipment; books, paintm brushes or weaving kits. All of these things can be put to good use, as we can always use more equipment and can also donate any items we don’t need to families so that children can learn from home if they need to. Whilst we are unable to ship these items to Kokrobite on a regular basis, we can keep them in storage in the UK until this becomes possible.
We don’t just need donations of goods, we can also accept financial donations. Everyone who works in support of our NGO does not draw a salary, and all donations benefit the users of our services directly. We are currently building a dedicated Day Centre to be used by children and their family whenever they need to in the Kokrobite community. This day centre would ensure that children are well fed, have access to advice and information, and have somewhere to turn if they need help. But we can only build it with your support. Please consider donating what you can to make the Kokrobite community a better place for everyone.
